Golf Pool Rules
Objective
Pocket all your assigned colored balls and then the black ball to win.
Order of Play
1. Determine who breaks with a practice putt; the closest to a pocket goes first or toss a coin
Gameplay
1. The first player breaks by hitting the cue ball using a putter. Balls pocketed on the break count towards the player’s color group (yellow or orange).
2. The first ball pocketed after the break determines the player’s color group.
3. Players take turns, trying to pocket their designated color balls using the putter.
4. Players must always use the putter to strike the cue ball.
5. If the cue ball or any object ball ends up too close to the rail, it can be moved out to allow room for the putter.
Scoring and Winning
1. Players score by pocketing all their assigned colored balls.
2. Once all colored balls are pocketed, players must sink the black ball to win.
3. Pocketing the black ball before all other balls is a loss.
Fouls
1. A foul is committed if:
- A player pockets the cue ball.
- The cue ball does not touch any balls.
- The wrong colored ball is hit first.
2. Fouls result in the opponent receiving a free shot (they can place the cue ball anywhere).
Special Rules
1. No jump shots with the putter are allowed.
2. Players should not physically alter the table or equipment.
