Croquet

Sure! Here's a simple guide to playing croquet at your wedding:


Croquet Rules


Setup

1. **Equipment**: 6 mallets, 6 balls, 9 wickets, 2 stakes.

2. **Field**: Set up the wickets and stakes in a double diamond pattern.


Objective

- Hit your ball through all the wickets in order and hit the stakes.


Turns

1. **Order**: Players take turns in a predetermined sequence.

2. **Play**: On your turn, hit the ball once. If you pass through a wicket, take another shot.


Bonus Shots

- **Wicket**: Pass through the correct wicket to earn one extra shot.

- **Roquet**: Hit another ball to earn two extra shots.


Winning

- The first player to pass through all wickets and hit both stakes wins.


Additional Rules

- **Out of Bounds**: If the ball goes out, place it one mallet length inside the boundary.

- **Roquet**: After hitting another player's ball, you can place your ball against theirs and hit again.


Etiquette

- Be respectful of others' turns.
